Blossom Thinning
Duration: Approximately 2 Weeks in September
What You Will Do: Remove blossoms from trees using a spinning wand with a rubber loop. This helps the trees grow fewer, but larger, fruits.
Start Time: The work day begins at 7:00 AM. (This may change with the weather.)
Job Environment: This work is outdoors, and is weather dependent. Weather conditions may vary(sunny, rainy, cool, or windy), so please be prepared.
Breaks: Breaks will be taken onsite in the orchard. There are clean toilet facilities available onsite
Other: Smoking is strictly prohibited. Performance based numeration is not available for this role
Cherry Season
Duration: December - January
Picking
What You Will Do: You will work outdoors in the orchard to pick ripe cherries from trees. Handle the fruit carefully and place them into 5kg buckets.
Start Time: The work day begins at 6:00 AM. (This may change with the weather.)
Job Environment: This work is outdoors, and is weather and crop dependent. Weather conditions may vary(sunny, rainy, cool, or windy), so please be prepared. Performance based numeration is available for this position, note this is discretionary and dependent on quality checks at the packhouse.
Breaks: Breaks will be taken onsite in the orchard. There are clean toilet facilities available onsite

Packhouse
What You Will Do: In the packhouse, you will sort, grade, and pack cherries that have been picked in the orchard. Your work helps prepare the fruit for shipping and sale by ensuring it meets quality standards. In January we export our cherries.
Start Time: The work day begins between 8:00 AM.-10:00AM (This may change with the weather and the volumes the pickers are picking as we pack the fruit the same day.)
Job Environment: This work is indoors and is dependent on the pickers being able to get out there and pick some cherries for us to pack. Hours may vary as we aim to pack all fruit picked that same day.
Breaks: Breaks will be taken onsite in the packhouse. There are clean toilet facilities available onsite

Nectarine Season
Duration: February - March
Picking
What You Will Do: You will work outdoors in the orchard to pick ripe nectarines
Start Time: The work day begins at 6:00 AM. (This may change with the weather and sunrise.)
Job Environment: This work is outdoors, and is weather and crop dependent. Weather conditions may vary(sunny, rainy, cool, or windy), so please be prepared. Performance based numeration is available for this position, note this is discretionary and dependent on quality checks at the packhouse.

What You Will Do: In the packhouse, you will sort, grade, and pack nectarines that have been picked in the orchard. Your work helps prepare the fruit for shipping and sale by ensuring it meets quality standards.
Start Time: The work day begins between 8:00 AM. (This may change with the weather and the volumes the pickers are picking as we pack the fruit the following day.)
Job Environment: This work is indoors and is dependent on the pickers being able to get out there and pick some nectarines for us to pack. Hours may vary as we aim to pack for either 8 hours or all fruit picked the following day.
Breaks: Breaks will be taken onsite in the packhouse. There are clean toilet facilities available onsite
